Fundamental Problems of Quantum Mechanics

The seminar consists of participants' presentations and discussions and takes place in one of the German youth hostels.

The main topics of the seminar are:

  • Fundamental problems of standard (Copenhagen) quantum mechanics
  • Alternatives to the standard theory:
    • Bohmian mechanics
    • Many Worlds Formulation
    • GRW-type theories (models of the wave-function collapse
  • Non-locality
  • Fundamental problems of standard relativistic quantum theory
  • Problems of traditional classical ED and Wheeler-Feynman theory
  • Relativity and alternatives to standard QM

The scientific program of the seminar is combined with various leisure activities.
